You may have already started a fitness routine last week or maybe you’re still trying to feel yourself out for what you might want to do or think you’ll be able to stick with. There is nothing wrong with the latter. Starting an exercise or fitness program for the first time, after an injury or illness or a period of being inactive needs to take some time. Rushing into something verses really thinking what works with you and your lifestyle is not a routine that typically leads to success. The old saying of “keeping up with the Jones’s” applies here. Know yourself, your time and your body and determine a plan. Just because it is the latest new trend or is extremely popular doesn’t always mean it is the perfect fit for you.
